Must be the Sound Studio Ltd is an independent recording label and studio founded by Oley Elate, who from the very beginning instilled a philosophy of precision in recording, deep respect for the artist, and a commitment to authentic, living sound. The studio’s story begins in 1993 with the creation of Bidma Studio, a space designed to offer professional conditions for musicians while uniting classical recording techniques with modern technologies.
In 2003, the studio became part of a larger structure and was renamed RMC RECORDS. At this stage, a full group of companies was formed, including the recording studio, a production center, a concert agency, and its own radio station. This expansion made it possible to cover the entire spectrum of the music industry – from recording and production to live event organization and music broadcasting.
In 2007, the company adopted a new name, Bidma Media Group, reflecting further expansion and the transformation into a full-scale media holding. Under the leadership of Oley Elate, the studio provided comprehensive project support: recording, mastering, promotion, visual materials, and media coverage, forming complete artistic concepts for musicians and composers.
In 2010, the studio received its current name, Must be the Sound Studio Ltd, symbolizing its focus on authenticity and emotional depth in music. Today, the label offers a full range of services – recording, mixing, mastering, and music distribution through digital platforms and partner networks – combining traditional working methods with modern technologies while preserving an individual approach to every artist.
